Shantoneé Porter, Esq. is a dedicated and compassionate legal professional with a strong commitment to client advocacy. She earned her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law, graduating with High Honors in Litigation and Advocacy. Shantoneé began her legal career in civil litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants—experience that equips her with a well-rounded and strategic perspective in the courtroom.
Her passion for family law was sparked during her undergraduate studies at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, where she majored in Psychology. This academic foundation, combined with her legal training, allows her to approach family law cases with both analytical precision and emotional intelligence. Prior to entering law school, she gained hands-on experience by volunteering at a local family law firm under the mentorship of seasoned litigators with over 20 years of experience. These formative experiences helped shape her client-centered approach, blending assertive legal advocacy with empathy and respect for the sensitive nature of family matters.
Outside the courtroom, Shantoneé enjoys reading, cooking, and playing the flute—a passion she has nurtured for over 15 years. A proud first-generation Jamaican American, she was born and raised in Florida and finds joy in preparing traditional Jamaican meals to share with family and friends.
